I know building a new website can come with a lot of questions, especially if it’s your first website. From the design process to technical support and everything in between, I’m here to make it simple and transparent. Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions my clients ask about my services, timelines, investments, and more.
Schedule A CallWhat's your process for creating a website?
Consultation Call – First we will get to know each other and see if I would be a great fit for your project.
Discovery Questionnaire – After we go through the initial call, I will send over a discovery questionnaire for you to fill out. These questions will help get a better idea on your budget, needs, and scope of the project.
SOW – We will then review the discovery questionnaire together, I may ask you further questions about your business and goals. Then I will put together a statement of work which will include a budget and timeline.
Design Begins – Once the SOW is signed, I will begin the designs for your website. Whether you are in SquareSpace or Wordpress, your designs will be specific to you and your business based on the discovery questionnaire.
Build – We will review the designs and fine tune any last minute changes. After I get your approval, I will work on the build of your site.
Revisions – This will be the time we take a look at your website and scheduling your go-live! After I take any final revisions, we will finalize any remaining items needed for launch and hand-off.
Go-Live – Your site is ready to go-live! This will be a scheduled day that is coordinated between you and me.
How long does a build typically take?
It depends on the size of your website, design requirements, and number revisions. All of which we can discuss in our discovery call.
Do you offer ongoing support after the website is launched?
Yes! I encourage all of my clients to reach out especially in the first 90 days post-launch of the website. Various packages are offered and will be provided following the launch of your website.
On-going Maintenance Plans could include:
1:1 Monthly Goal Alignment CallOnce a month, a meeting will be scheduled to review website goals and discuss any questions about the website.Weekly Website Check25 minutes a week will be dedicated to your website to monitor and deploy any updates needed. This includes addressing any bug fixes or site issues that may come across from deployment.General Content UpdatesYou can send in a list of content which may include: updating website content, swapping images or updating existing pages on the website.Acuity Scheduling (or) 3rd Party Scheduling Integration
Set up full online appointment management with Acuity Scheduling or similar.
Email Campaigns
Create campaigns, including automated emails, and templates for your newsletters, upcoming events and more.
Member Sites (Squarespace Only)
Build pages, add content, and design email templates for your members-only area of your website.
Website Analytics & Data
Receive monthly emails on your website’s health and performance beyond Wordpress and Squarespace’s dashboard. These would be automated and powered through additional tools such as GA4 and Looker Studio.
SEO Support
Conduct SEO scans and audits of your website and provide a detailed report of actionable items to better optimize your website and improve site rankings.
ADA Compliance
Conduct an ADA audit of your website to ensure your website is fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Can you help with branding and design elements beyond the website?
I do not specialize in branding and logo design beyond the website. However, I have a strong network of designers who would love to assist you with logos, brand colors, and visual identity, if needed.
Will I be able to update my website on my own?
Yes, my goal with all of my clients is to ensure they can update their website on their own following the go-live. I will provide ample training for you and whomever else will be managing the website after launch.
